reminds me of a Peter Maxx in a more gentle and less psychedelic way

hm Peter Maxx really, I don’t know much about him, just that he loves red and screaming colours and his art feels like a mix of spraying and comic mixed together under the mantle of popart…

Thank you… Chagall the works are very delicate and mostly aquarell technique based if I recall right, a deep blue was his favourite…. didn’t chagall have a taste for blue horses?

I’m not sure what his favorite was, but he mainly painted folkish scenes, I saw a play once that he wrote, the company had constructed and painted the set from Chagall’s paintings it was beautiful.

sounds interesting… I didn’t know he did plays… I vaguely remember blue horses but I will look this up, too

I had a google last night, I couldn’t find it, so it may be that someone made a play out of one of his paintings? In any case it was lovely.

Even thought blue is a cool colour he makes it feel warm

yes I agree the blue he uses feels warm but I think that is related to the combination of colours… the colour by itself feels like normal aquamarin a bit mixed

The mood of the images too, they all seem content to me, oh to be content.

was chagall really that content? I always thought he was a bit of a adventurous soul…

His paintings seem like it to me, I’m thinking of ‘the lovers’ and ‘me and the village’
