Going to a galery

My art will still be around. Recently I've been looking around more and more a place to put my stuff. I finally decided to contact a galery. One has to bring photos. So I am preparing something to portray the essence of my art which proves to be more difficult than I thought since I don't want to sell it all. It is confusing at times because some stuff I consider great and potential is not regarded in the same way by others while stuff I consider absolutely uninteresting is high praised.

I guess it is all due to what people like and well modern art sells well so it may be a good outlet.

While preparing for the galery I also prepare to enter a group where painters and writers get help with becoming popular.

Fame to my stuff!!!

Good luck. It’s been years since my last oil on canvas.

I can’t say when. I still have my old brushes and a palette knife I bought many years ago I never used not even once.

It’s all in the impulse… Sometimes I don’t use oilcolours in ages and than suddenly it’s 10 canvas

I never tried other mediums. I was taught to paint in oil.

Oil takes a long smelly drying time. I think waterbased colours are interesting because they dry faster, some even dry into a plasticlike look. The medium has to have a relation to the subject of the painting though. Why were you taught oil? Did you choose it because of a painter that influenced you?
